You are doing everything right. Be gentle with yourself.

None of your choices were wrong. Not your deciding to stay or go. Not your deciding that you wanted more or that you were just not ready. Not your deciding to work or stay home. Not your deciding to talk about it or not, or anything else that you did or didn’t do. You didn’t do anything wrong…

None of your choices were wrong. Not your deciding to stay or go. Not your deciding that you wanted more or that you were just not ready. Not your deciding to work or stay home. Not your deciding to talk about it or not, or anything else that you did or didn’t do. You didn’t do anything wrong. ..

Whatever choices you made, you did so because that’s what felt right to you at that moment.

The only thing that was wrong was any judgments that were made towards you along the way. Someone or maybe many did not nurture or support you. This is why you feel disconnected.

Whatever choices you made, you did so because that’s what felt right to you at that moment.

When we don’t feel supported, we begin to
>> Feel inadequate.
>> Fear rejection.
>> Have difficulties in establishing boundaries.
>> Feel responsible for others.
>> Obsess.
>> Personalize others comments and/or actions.
>> People please.
>> Fear of being alone/not liked. .

That thing that you feel is missing, that thing that you just can’t put your finger on, and you’re just not exactly sure what it is…It’s self-esteem.

I cannot say this enough, if you question yourself and your choices, then you’ll question your connection.
So why do you feel connected sometimes? Because.. you’re confident in some areas of your life.

EX: There might be turmoil at home but your place of work is a safe haven or vice versus. And over time, it spills over. You go wherever you go.

Be a priority.

So if you want to feel connected and receive guidance begin by building your esteem/worth.

>> Be a priority.
>> Practice self-love/care. If you have enough time for everyone else, then you have enough time for you!
>> Make a daily commitment with yourself. Create a small daily habit for yourself and stick to it. <— This is huge for building self-esteem/worth.
>> Remind yourself that it is no longer your responsibility to please others. Make post its, add reminders to your calendar. Whatever works for you.
